Broccoli and Carrots in Garlic-Tumeric Oil
There are many choices for spice so exploration is encouraged.
1 t cumin
dash red pepper flakes
6-7 whole cloves garlic
3 cups broccoli
3 cups carrots
Cut broccoli into small spears and Carrots into small julienne stripsPar boil for 2 minutes
Sauté turmeric, cumin, red pepper flakes and garlic in hot oil until garlic is roasted and aromatic. Add broccoli and carrots and sauté until desired tenderness. Sprinkle and small amount of sugar to glaze. Salt. Serve.
