4 cups water, boiled

5 cardamom pods, crushed

1 Tbsp coriander seed, crushed

1 tsp fennel seed, crushed

1/2 tsp dill seed, crushed

1/4 tsp turmeric powder or fresh, thinnly sliced

2-3" piece of ginger, sliced

1 Tbsp sucanat or honey

Crush all spices with mortar or spice grinder. place in quart jar with turmeric root and ginger. Carefully add hot water to jar to fill. Place lid on jar and allow to steep at least 15 minutes, longer (overnight) to extract more medicine from plant material. Strain and drink.
